Technology
I began as a programmer and have a fundamental understanding of systems, data and connections. That allows me to see both the detail and the architecture the solution must be able to grow within.
The person behind Højmann Digital
Not with the technology.
My name is Claus Højmann. For many years I have worked with IT, leadership, quality and digital workflows. It has taught me that a solution only creates value when it fits the people who will use it.
The starting point
The difficult part is understanding what really happens in everyday work.
That is where I begin.
Experience from several sides of the table
I began as a programmer and have a fundamental understanding of systems, data and connections. That allows me to see both the detail and the architecture the solution must be able to grow within.
As a leader, I have worked with people, change and organisations in the real world. I know that a good solution does not help if people do not understand it or see the purpose of it.
I do not stop at whether something works technically. I look at the solution through the user’s eyes: Is it easy to understand? Is the next step clear? Can people find what they need?
Why Højmann Digital?
Højmann Digital grew out of repeatedly seeing people ask for a website when they actually needed something else.
Some needed a better overview. Others needed an easier workflow, an administration system or one place where information was connected.
I realised that my experience with technology, leadership and quality could make a real difference. Not by selling a ready-made package, but by taking the time to understand the task.
What it is like to work with me
You should not be pushed into a solution I have already decided on.
If an idea is not good, I say so. Even when it would be easier simply to agree.
A solution is not finished just because the code works. It must also be understandable, reassuring and useful.
An eye for detail that never quite switches off
When I see a workflow or a website, I almost automatically begin to ask:
Can people understand it?
Do they know what the next step is?
Can we make something simpler?
It is probably my eye for quality and detail that never quite takes a break. But it is also what makes me continue until the solution truly fits together.
My goal
I am not interested in delivering something that only looks good on launch day. The goal is for the client and the users to continue experiencing calm, overview and value once the solution has become part of everyday work.
